Easter Holiday School Meal Vouchers are
a special voucher for children to eat at school during the Easter break. These
vouchers are available for both primary and secondary schools and they can be
used on a specific day (usually Thursday or Friday) during the Easter holiday
period. Schools can choose to give Easter Holiday School Meal Vouchers out in a
number of different ways. They can send them out in the post, through email or
online. They can also do it in person at the school or provide them as a reward
for good behavior.
Ester Holiday School meal Vouchers provide
funding to ensure families of children who are eligible for free school meals
during term time have the funds to purchase food over the holidays to replace
the meals a child would have received during a school day.
Families of children that are
eligible for free school meals will receive a voucher for the value of £15 per
week of the school holiday to use at any of the stores. Families with more than
one child entitled to free school meals were given a unique code for each to
use to get vouchers from the Select website. Only one voucher will be issued
per child, so if you are separated from your child's other parent and your
child spends part of their time with them, you will need to split it.
